I have bought all my jewelry at this store. They provide the best service and have some of the best pieces of jewelry in Pinehurst and surrounding areas. Whatever you are looking for they will find it or custom make it for you. I have also had to have repairs done and they do an excellent job. I give them 5 stars for their service whether you are buying an expensive piece or something cheaper, they carry all types of jewelry.

John B. James

John is a Syracuse, N.Y native who served in the Army.  He found his passion of custom jewelry repair in 1953 where he opened a small business on the ground floor of an apartment building.  The residents were his customers.

He later took over his father’s jewelry business, Diana Jewelry.  After several years of serving Syracuse and surrounding areas John and his wife, Mary, came to Pinehurst to visit and fell in love with the Village.

They moved here to retire, however, his clients, some of whom also retired in Pinehurst, had other plans for him.  They found him a location to open a new store.  In 1998 Heavenly Pines was established.   John and Mary attend Sacred Heart Church and John served with the Knights of Columbus for many years.

John graduated with a Associates Degree in Applied Science at University of New York majoring in Horology and Minor in Gemology.

Today John is enjoying his “semi-retirement” but his love for the business and our clients keeps him from fully retiring.
